Enjoy the Great Wall of Beijing tour with Greatwall Trekclub

The Great Wall of Beijing was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987. Some locals there say, if you have not climbed the Great Wall then you are no man. It is a most spectacular man made construction built by several Chinese dynasties. It is believed to have been built by Han Chinese to keep away the invaders from the Chinese border. The first emperor Qin used millions of men for building the wall without any help of machines. Then during the Han dynasty towers were built taller for a better view and the wall was extended more through the Gobi desert. During Ming dynasty more watch towers came up. The wall was used for military purpose to send and receive messages through smoke and fire. With such an exotic history behind it who would not want to visit the Great Walls of Beijing at least once in their life time.
